A Nightmare Before Christmas Trivia Night – Friday, October 2 6pm to 8pm –

Gather your friends together for a trivia night presented by Got Pop Concerts.  There will be tons of prizes, complementary refreshments & more. Meet in the Food Court at Country Club Centre at 6pm.

Halloween Costume Boo-Tique – Sunday, October 4 11am to 2pm

Support a sustainable Halloween and pick up a free gently used costume during the Westcoast Costume Society & Nanaimo Science pop-up costume boo-tique.

Science of Sound – Sunday, October 18 11am to 2pm

This community event invites children ages 5 & up to enjoy a day of hands‑on music and science exploration, experimentation and fun. Join the Vancouver Island Symphony and Nanaimo Science, where kids can try an instrument of the orchestra, build their own, meet a scientist, meet a musician, experiment with the physics of sound, and discover how music really works.

Mid Island Brick Fest – Saturday, October 24 10am to 4pm

Get ready to build, create, and explore all things LEGO during the 7th annual Mid Island Brick Fest. Presented by the MILUG (Mid Island LEGO Users Group).

Hospital Auxiliary Craft Sale – Saturday, October 24 10am to 4pm

Shop a huge selection of quilts, handcrafted household goods, knit items, tote bags, jewelry, and toys. All proceeds benefit the Nanaimo General Hospital.

Trick or Treating – Saturday, October 31 4pm to 5pm

Children are invited to dress up in costume and trick or treat at Country Club Centre businesses. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
